POWERful Paws Animal Rescue was excited to find out that we were chosen to be the beneficiary of proceeds at the Syracuse Half Runners Gala which was held at the Oncenter on November 9th, 2019
This event was absolutely amazing and a huge success! The Oncenter was filled with a whole bunch of Animal Lovers, food, music, raffles, photo booths and awards! Everyone who attended had a wonderful time and we were so overjoyed with the generosity of such a loving community. So many incredible people gathered at this event to support a wonderful cause - saving animals.
Due to everyone’s generosity we were able to raise more money than we ever thought possible - thus allowing us to help several more animals in need.
Each table at the event was named after a shelter/rescue dog (with a bio included) in search of their forever homes. The dogs in the frames were all local dogs from rescue as well as adoptable dogs from B&R Bunkhouse Adoptables and Friends of Second Chance Canine Adoption Center.
We had quite a few people approaching us asking about certain dogs on the tables and our hearts filled with joy ...thinking that some of these beautiful, framed shelter dogs will finally get a home of their own, to provide them with their own framed family photo that they so deserve
